Approach to Therapy

Your first appointment will be an initial consultation, which enables yourself to discuss what your best hopes are for therapy and find out more about what sessions involve, to help decide if this is the right path to take. It also helps myself to assess if I am able to help. There is no obligation and should you wish to book further sessions these will last approx 1 hour.


Therapy sessions are designed to be client centred ,meaning that I work collaboratively with  clients to identify their specific needs and goals, and tailor treatment  accordingly. I believe that every individual has unique abilities and challenges and will work to facilitate clients finding their own solutions.

I use research backed techniques to provide the best therapy I can. Aiming to help clients with a range of conditions, including but not limited to anxiety and stress, low mood, sleep issues, low self esteem, phobias, smoking addiction, difficulties with weight management, some menopausal symptoms and low motivation.


It is always advisable to contact your GP prior to having any complementary therapy.
